On June 5th, 2025, the Path to Russia team had the honor of visiting Githiga Primary School in Kangema Constituency, Murang’a County—marking the first step toward launching our cultural exchange program in the region.

The visit was made possible through the support of Mr. Edwin Kuria, Director at Sports Kenya and a proud alumnus of Githiga. As a friend to our organization, Edwin’s passion for education and community empowerment helped pave the way for meaningful dialogue with the school’s leadership and learners.

During our visit, we held discussions with the school administration to explore future partnerships, co-curricular engagement, and the rollout of joint cultural initiatives planned for July. The enthusiasm among the teachers and the curiosity of the learners reaffirmed why Murang’a is such a vital region for expanding our program.

We were deeply touched by the warm reception from both the staff and students. Their smiles, stories, and openness to new ideas reminded us why every child deserves the opportunity to connect with the world beyond their classroom.

As we prepare to officially launch our cultural exchange program in Murang’a County, our mission remains clear: to make global learning accessible and inclusive—ensuring no learner is left behind.

We look forward to returning in July with activities that will open minds, build friendships, and spark curiosity across continents.
